Water reminder app for Mac
AquaAww sits quietly in your menu bar. When it is time, a short video of someone you love appears on your screen, even over full-screen apps, with I drank and Later buttons. Pick the interval, active hours and the exact spot on screen.
What you need
- A Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or newer)
- macOS 11 or newer
- About 350 MB of disk space
How to install on Mac
- Fill in your name and email on the home page and click Mac. A .dmg file downloads.
- Open it and drag AquaAww into Applications.
- The first time, macOS may say it cannot verify the app. Open System Settings, go to Privacy and Security, and choose Open Anyway.
- Click the drop icon in the menu bar to choose your video, interval and position.
Tips
- Turn on Launch at login from the menu bar icon.
- Use a square video; the app crops to the centre.
- Intel Macs are not supported yet.
